Prepping for Spring: Tending to the Curb Appeal of Your Home
Warmer weather, flowers blooming, lounging outside – ah, the joys of spring.
You know what else spring brings? A buyer’s market. If you’re getting ready to sell your home, you’ll want yours to stand out above the rest.
Think curb appeal.
Prepping your home for showings doesn’t have to be strenuous! Take a peek at some of the easiest things you can do to tidy up the look of your home.
Paint
Don’t fret – you don’t always have to paint the entirety of you home. If you paint some of the accent areas in your home, like the trim, door, or shutters, you’ll find that it actually freshens up the look of your house enormously!
House Numbers
Upgrading your house numbers is an easy – and pretty inexpensive – thing to do. There are plenty of options in color, texture, and size that you can choose to coordinate with the overall look of your home.
Light Fixtures
If you already have light fixtures outside your home, you can simply give them a new look by using a spray can with the color of your choice.
You can also think about adding post or landscape lighting!
Garden
Make sure your lawn is mowed, and you are tending to any flower garden beds you may have. A new layer of bark that surrounds your flower beds can really spruce up the look of your home.
Fixing up the exterior of your home can be done over a weekend – leaving you to feel refreshed and ready to list your home with the help of an agent.
