Community Spotlights – Albany & Lebanon

Settled in picturesque Linn County, Oregon, an hour away from the bustling city of Portland and the Willamette National Forest and Oregon Coast, you’ll find our two newest community spotlights: Albany, and Lebanon.

Known for its historic architecture, Albany has a rich town past. Albany’s four national historic districts range from the 1840s to the 1920s and are all located within an area of approximately 100 square blocks. Being the 11th largest city in Oregon, Albany is known primarily for their farming and manufacturing.

Only a 13-minute drive from Albany, you’ll stumble upon Lebanon, Oregon. Lebanon has 71 acres of developed parks where you can play baseball, softball, and soccer on one of their many fields. Visit one of their romantic covered bridges, or stop by Marks Ridge Winery for a tasting – Lebanon will help you unwind from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Our AmeriTitle branches in both Albany and Lebanon have exceptional employees that are happy to not only help you with your real estate transaction, but are happy to be involved members of the community.

A 7-minute drive from the Albany Municipal Airport, you’ll find our AmeriTitle Albany branch. Escrow Assistant, Becky McKibben, explains why she loves the Albany community: “Having grown up here, it is a great pleasure to help my family and neighbors with their real estate needs. It helps me to keep in touch with the community and with the important issues and events that take place”

Business Development Manager, Sarah Steen, continues: “I love my town of Albany. I am a true Albanight. We are all here to better our community; we want everyone to be successful. The way our community has come together during this pandemic makes me so proud to raise my children here in a community that really watches out for their neighbors, supports businesses, and connects resources to help one another out. I can’t see myself living anywhere else. Being a part of AmeriTitle makes me so proud that they also support the communities where their employees work, live, and play.”

The Albany team is incredibly involved with the community. They’ve helped with the Greater Albany Rotary Club – Crab Fest (as the second biggest sponsor level!), Albany’s Golf Tournament, and Smackdown Beer Fest in Septembeer (get it?). All funds raised go back into their community and some international projects. They’re also involved in: Rise Above the Burn, the Albany Public Schools Foundation, the Jackson Street Youth Shelter, Family Tree Relief Nursery, Albany Boys and Girls Club, Samaritan Hospital Foundation, ABC House, CASA of Linn County, CARDV, and the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce – where, fun fact: Sarah Steen was awarded the Civilian Life-Saving Award in June of 2019 for saving a fellow Rotarian’s life by giving him the Heimlich at a banquet!

The Lebanon office is a 5-minute drive from River Park, nestled along the South Santiam River. Our team loves working alongside the Lebanon community. One of the many foundations our Lebanon team helps with, is the Lebanon Strawberry Festival. Our very own Manager, Leesa Adams, was awarded a special award this past March as the Lebanon Board Member of the year for the festival!

Cindy Morse, Albany’s Branch Manager, explains further on what they all love most about the industry they work in: “We love the customer loyalty and the trust they have in us!”

The AmeriTItle teams in Albany and Lebanon are proud to serve the title and escrow needs of the community they’re a part of. If you’re planning to buy or sell property in Linn County, please ask your real estate professional to close with AmeriTitle.
