Community Spotlight – Silverton

You have to admire the tenacity of the Silverton staff as they have navigated caring for clients during a unique year.

The team has remained diligent in following safety guidelines and health protocols to make sure our staff and clients have the safest home closing experience possible during a pandemic.

As wildfires swept through our region, Silverton staff members experienced both level 2 (be ready) and level 3 (go now!) evacuations. The dangerous air quality forced us to close our office for a few days.

Our Escrow Officer and Branch Manager, Sandee Breshears was evacuated from her home, but put a plan in motion to work out of the Salem office. Despite a frightening crisis, the focus and dedication of Sandee Breshears and Lisa Kutsch ensured our transactions continued to move forward.

We’re deeply grateful to all of the first responders who put their lives on the line to protect Silverton, Scotts Mills, and Mt. Angel. We grieve alongside our Santiam Canyon friends and the other areas of our state that have experienced devastating losses.

An added element to this year is business volume. Month after month, home sales and refinances are breaking records. Our office is the busiest it has ever been.

Rising to embrace these high business volumes, we have expanded our team. Juliana Craig is the newest AmeriTitle family member. She was born and raised in Silverton. After feeling drawn to the real estate industry, she is excited to land in the world of title and escrow. She is goal-oriented and has set her sights high. Her main focus right now is to help create a client experience that goes beyond expectations. Our Silverton Team is pleased to welcome Juliana.

She joins an escrow unit that has grown closer than ever before. There is great strength in facing adversity together as a team. We will benefit from the lessons learned this year. One of the biggest lessons is the power of a positive attitude, no matter what comes our way.
