Your transparency is worth talking about

When it comes to your marketing, do you talk about your core values? And if you do, is one of those pillars transparency? If you answered “No” to either question, we have some news for you.

Showing transparency in your work could be the easiest way to build trust, and we all know how important that is in real estate. In fact, 85 percent of Americans say they’re more likely to give your business a second chance if they feel like you were transparent about a less than desirable situation. Want to know more? Here are three reasons why transparency is so important.

Helps chart a clear plan

Many of your clients, especially first-time homebuyers, are overwhelmed by the home buying process. A transparent and open communication strategy allows you to tell them exactly what information you need from them and exactly how you can use that information. This sets your expectations for each other and ensures you have a common goal. Want to help them out a bit more? Share this buyer’s timeline from Realtor.com.

 Keeps everyone in the loop

This article addresses how “information gaps” are often used to gain power. Don’t do this. While it may work once, it’s not a way to build trust. All of us strive for a more involved and open transaction, and we promise to always keep you and your customers updated. It’s all part of the modern expectation for responsiveness everyone deserves. Plus, when it comes to working with repeat customers and partners, if you already trust each other, negotiations go much smoother.

Builds trust

Realtors are more than familiar with the concept of “trust but verify.” You trust the information you gather from a client, but you do the due diligence to verify that the information is correct. Clients who know they can trust you will let you guide them during their transactions, use you again in the future and tell all their friends about what a great partner you are. We know you always have your buyers’ and sellers’ interests at heart, but do they know that too?

We are grateful to work with some of the most thoughtful and attentive real estate professionals in our markets. Now it’s time that your potential customers know how much you care too!  When you’re ready to work with a title company that shares this same value, reach out to us, and we’ll get your transaction to the finish line.
