Community Spotlight – Burns
Located in the high desert of Southeast Oregon you will find our next community spotlight, Burns, OR!
Burns is also known as the gateway to the Steens Mountain, a large fault-block mountain that stretches 50 miles from north to south. The town is the county seat of Harney County, which is the ninth largest county in the United States. Burns was first settled in the 1880s and grew quickly in the following years. Today, you can visit the Harney County Historical Museum in Burns, or venture out of town to experience the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge or Diamond Craters.
Our AmeriTitle branch in Burns is right in the center of town. Stan Falley, Office Manager, says the team enjoys having a small community fee, and the customers like the one-on-one customer service. Stan explains, “It makes them feel at ease when they can come into the office and talk through issues that arise or ask general questions.”
The AmeriTitle team says the Burns community is very small and feels like a close knit family. Stan adds that, “In times of need, the community will gather and push through any issues that come up, whether personal or business related.”
AmeriTitle’s Burns office is proud to serve the title and escrow needs of Harney County. Give a quick shout out to our AmeriTitle Burns Branch on Facebook! If you’re planning to buy or sell property in the area, please ask your real estate professional to close with AmeriTitle.
