Known as the official birthplace of television, Rigby, Idaho, is our newest branch spotlight!

Rigby is the county seat of Jefferson County with a population of over 5,200. The Rigby area was originally settled by Native Americans of the Shoshone and Bannock tribes, but not established until 1884 and incorporated in 1903. Although the television was not created in Rigby, the inventor of the television, Philo T. Farnsworth, lived in Rigby when he came up with the idea. Rigby recognizes this claim to fame with a sign as you enter town that reads, “Rigby. The Birthplace of Television.” Today Rigby offers many outdoor recreation opportunities to its community, with West Yellowstone, MT and Jackson Hole, WY both short 90-minute drives away. 

Located just off the highway in Rigby is our AmeriTitle branch. This team is always ready and willing to help with your title and escrow needs. Escrow Assistant, Sadie Magera, says she loves this industry and serving their clients, especially because buying a home is such a big purchase and one that is so cool to be a part of. Getting to know clients on a personal level, and creating friendships with them, is Sadie’s favorite part of her job. 

The Rigby AmeriTitle team values their small, close-knit community. Escrow Assistant, Angie Lee, says, “I love how our community comes together to help others in their times of need. I have seen over and over how we have lifted up others when needed.” The entire team in Rigby shares this sentiment of loving their community. They have gotten involved in many ways, including participating in Trick or Treat Main Street, where they handed out candy to more than 2,500 kids, and the Rigby High School Homecoming Parade, where they gave away AmeriTitle bracelets.
