Ask your customers to show some love

For all of us in real estate, our loyal partners and happy clients are our best advocates to drum up business – no matter what the market is doing. That’s why we had to send one more message revolving around admiration before February ends. Yes, we’re talking about asking your customers to show you some extra love through an online review.

Why is this such a key? Not only will it showcase you in a positive light, but it will give you more visibility online. All of that, in turn, builds trust, and there’s nothing more important in our business than that.

Reviews are an excellent way for potential clients to learn about your business. These positive and negative words serve as a digital introduction to who you are and what you do. Here are three love-themed tips to help you step up your review game.

Make a heartfelt request.

The easiest way to get a review is by asking. That seems simple enough, but sometimes there are obstacles in the way. Whether making yourself do it every time or providing a plan for colleagues to collect these kind words, let’s make it happen. Consider sending a follow-up email to your client asking for a review at the end of a successful transaction. Plus, sometimes you have to make it as easy as possible. So, we suggest providing a direct link to your Google listing.

Reply lovingly.

Express your gratitude when people provide feedback. If someone takes the time to leave a review, respond to it. Acknowledge their input and thank them for taking the time to share their thoughts. This response shows that you value their opinion and appreciate their business. Even if it’s negative, the willingness to respond and engage professionally goes a long way – with the original poster and future readers/customers.

Practice lip service.

And we don’t mean it in a bad way. Word of mouth is a powerful marketing tool. Continue your efforts by using your social media accounts to spread the word that you want reviews in a certain place – we suggest Google as a good place to start.

Our teams want to say one last thing: We love working with all our customers. Thank you for trusting us to be your title partner, and we invite you to leave us some kind words on the Google page for the branch you love the most, or wherever you feel comfortable sharing. Thank you for being part of our story.
