HERE AT HOME – CASCADE-McCALL

This month, we’re shining the AmeriTitle spotlight on two places – our wonderful branches in the beautiful Idaho mountain communities of Cascade and McCall.

While these are two separate, vibrant small towns on the western edge of gorgeous Valley County, our company is proud that these two teams work together when needed and are under the leadership of General Manager Mathew Paulson. However, each branch has a dedicated staff ready to devote time to customers, colleagues, and the community. The region is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, popular for both its winter and summer activities.

Just consider these words of wisdom from Cascade’s Escrow Officer Merandy Metz which certainly applies to both towns and many other great places served by AmeriTitle.

“The thing to remember about a small community is that you’ve got to put in as much as you get from it,” Metz said. “The key to succeeding in life is to surround yourself with people who share your values, your positive spirit, and who want to change the world for the better.”

Our two teams, Mertz included, certainly put plenty into their communities. Mertz herself coaches a junior high school girls’ basketball team, as well as a 3rd/4th grade team, and several members of the branch volunteered to help the varsity basketball program this past season, providing lunches/energy bars, helping with banners, and cheering them on at each game. Branch employees also volunteer at RamblerFest and get in the fall spirit through a pumpkin carving contest for children, and by participating in the town’s scarecrow competition.

Jointly, the two branches were sponsors of Sculpture Championships during McCall’s annual Winter Carnival – one of the community’s biggest and most exciting events. AmeriTitle team members set up for the parade, helped with the talent show, and sold raffle tickets during the carnival.

One of the hallmarks of both these branches is how they support their real estate agents and other fellow real estate professionals. There are Continuing Education opportunities, of course, and because both places are tight-knit communities, you’ll often find team members at events hosted by other real estate professionals – both for networking and because everyone in the area genuinely likes being around each other. There are even local REALTOR ® ski day outings to be had.

“What I love most about being a part of our community is getting to know our clients and customers at the closing table and seeing those relationships blossom beyond the transaction,” said Sydney Carnes, escrow officer with the McCall branch. “I love seeing people in town that I may have just met at a signing or running into one of my agents at the grocery store. It’s the best small-town feel you can ask for and creates the best environment to call home.”

One of the bonuses of working in such a naturally beautiful place, according to Sydney. The fact that town deer will sometimes wander by the branch, which is on Pine Street. To learn more about these great places to call home, visit Cascade’s town website here or McCall’s here.

Our AmeriTitle Cascade and McCall branches are proud to serve the title and escrow needs of Valley County. Worked with them before? Be sure to give a shoutout on Cascade’s or McCall’s Facebook pages!
