It’s time to highlight three of our great AmeriTitle branches – two in Oregon and one in Washington –
with one bright community spotlight. We don’t just group our offices in The Dalles, Hood River, and
White Salmon branches because of their close proximity.

The hardworking, experienced associates in these three branches take pride in the beautiful, tight-knit
communities they serve and all love working with longtime customers and newcomers alike. Most of
them share a love of the outdoors, too! Living near the Columbia River and Mount Hood are perks, after
all. Here’s a little of what you should know about the people inside The Dalles branch.

Escrow Assistant, Julie Stephens, is a breast cancer survivor who is always willing to lend a hand or
helpful ear. She leads a team in the Portland to Coast Relay that benefits cancer research every year.
Title Officer, Donna Lohery, is on the board for Sherman County Scholarships and reviews every
application. She also works hard to raise funds for the organization and loves her impact on the futures
of students and the community. Fellow Title Officer, Adam Fourcade, is the coach of the new e-sports
program at The Dalles High School, and we all think that’s pretty cool.  

In addition, this branch supports the Distinguished Young Women of Wasco County scholarship program and recently donated funds to the local sheriff’s office for a new K-9 officer, Xena. She has a serious job, but is a very good dog. Everyone in the office loves going all-out for Halloween to pass out candy and being an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, too!

Of course, no mention of The Dalles Office branch is complete without Flamingo Friday, which is on the
first Friday of every month. What is that? We’ll let Beverly Nanez, Branch Manager, explain. “Our office loves Flamingos so much that we do a Flamingo Friday on the first Friday of every month,”
said Beverly. “We all dress in Flamingo clothes and then go out for a team lunch.”

Just over the Washington state border in White Salmon, the AmeriTitle team participates in many
community events, including Red Cross blood drives, fishing derbies put on by the National Guard,
events sponsored by the local 4-H chapter and more. One of the recent crowning achievements for the
office? Collecting almost 2,000 pounds of food to give to the local food bank during AmeriTitle’s Closing
the Hunger Gap food drive.

Of course, White Salmon team members are also dedicated to their jobs. This means providing quality
title products and services their customers can rely on. To them, it’s not enough to do a job. Everyone
aims to provide an excellent customer experience, education and guidance during each step of a
transaction for extra piece of mind.

What makes the area covered by these three branches so appealing to longtime residents and
newcomers alike? We’ll turn to Shenna Hankin, Branch Manager from White Salmon, for the answer this
time. “The Columbia Gorge is a desirable place to live because of its beauty and variety of activities available, Shenna said. “We love the diversity of people that have moved to the area over the last several years.”

Finally, in Hood River, our AmeriTitle professionals are always ready to provide an inviting atmosphere
for our customers’ closings. “It’s part of the small-time vibe. Our customers are loyal, and we appreciate that we have a lot of repeat business,” says Heather Harrell, Branch Manager.

Community causes supported by Hood River’s AmeriTitle branch include the annual “Making Strides
Against Breast Cancer” event, various Chamber of Commerce outings, and more.

There are many interesting hobbies and talents throughout the Hood River branch. Escrow Assistant,
Alejandra Calderon, enjoys detailing cars and Gus Chandler, also an Escrow Assistant, loves history.
Heather Harrell and Diane Leibbrandt, Title Assistant, both play the guitar and sing. Alycia McClintock,
Escrow Officer, loves being a mom to her soon-to-be 1 year old. Megan Kaufman, Title Officer, is a baker and her team loves when she brings goodies into work for them.
