AmeriTitle Super Star – Sarah Steen
It’s time to present a new AmeriTitle Super Star. Today, we’re recognizing Sarah Steen, who has been part of the AmeriTitle family for 10 years.
Sarah serves as the Business Development Manager for AmeriTitle’s Albany and Lebanon branches in Oregon. She loves her job and says it’s impossible to pick a favorite aspect. Her regular tasks include building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with REALTORS®, lenders and community partners, helping new agents strategize for success and celebrating the accomplishments of her AmeriTitle colleagues and the communities they serve.
Not surprisingly, Sarah is active in many community organizations. These include being a board member for the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, board member and past president of the Community before and after school program (CAP), and an ambassador for Jackson Street Youth Services. She’s also a committee member for the Albany Chamber Women in Business and the Youth Job Fair. Plus, she’s an active Rotarian!
Why is Sarah so involved? She simply loves being a community connector.
“I’ve lived in Albany my entire life, so people come to me for all sorts of requests,” she says. “Even though I’ve scaled back the past year, I enjoy helping my community with all sorts of projects that make Albany, Lebanon and all of Linn County a better place to work, live and play.”
When she’s not at the office or serving the community, you’ll find Sarah spending time with family or traveling. And when she can’t get away, she loves being in her backyard oasis, which reminds her of Hawaii. Two sons still at home also keep her busy with school and sports.
When asked who she admires most, Sarah has a long list of people, including first responders, medical professionals, single parents and anyone working hard to overcome hard times. One such person is Caryn Davenport, a colleague and friend from high school who is currently battling cancer.
“I admire the heck out of Caryn. She amazes me every day with her positivity, outlook and sense of humor,” Sarah says. “We can’t wait until she’s back in the office and the football stands correcting the referees on wrong calls for our boys at South Albany High School, where Caryn and I attended high school together and our boys now attend school.”
Now that you’ve learned what makes Sarah so special, give a shout out to her two branches on Facebook! (Albany and Lebanon) Either AmeriTitle team is ready to make your next closing a simple and smooth experience – and you’ll have Sarah rooting for you.
