AmeriTitle Super Star – Becky McKibben

It’s time to give the spotlight to another AmeriTitle Super Star! Meet Becky McKibben, an Operational Support Specialist who has been with AmeriTitle for a decade. She has a total of more than 35 years of experience in the industry.
Becky works remotely but assists customers and colleagues across Central Oregon, Coast and Willamette Valley with their wires. What’s her favorite part about the role? “I have some really amazing co-workers!” she says. “(I love) interacting with internal employees and getting to know them on a more personal level.”
Outside of the office, Becky loves to garden and forage for food. Other interests include reading and traveling. Another thing to know about Becky? She spent 23 years on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson Fire Department.
Becky is also a proud 7th-generation Oregonian who grew up on the homestead of one of Thomas Cox’s daughters. “My real love is Oregon and finding new to me, off the beaten path places,” Becky says. When asked who she admires most, she chooses her great-grandmother. She is the person who instilled a love of both history and Oregon, according to Becky.
“She emigrated on a wagon train to Oregon and farmed her whole life,” Becky says. “She was strong, hard-working and stood up for her beliefs, while also being kindhearted and funny. She shared her love of cooking and gardening with me. I have her photo albums from the early 1900s; she was a true adventurer. There are photos of Crater Lake Lodge when it was new, the Columbia Gorge and even photos of the area I now live in from 100 years ago!”
We appreciate everything Becky does for our AmeriTitle team, and we hope you do too, especially after reading this piece. Give Becky a shout out on the AmeriTitle Corvallis branch Facebook page, and know that she is always ready to work with any of our Oregon customers.
