AmeriTitle Community Spotlight – Hermiston, OR

It’s time to travel to Hermiston, OR, for the next AmeriTitle branch spotlight. This community in Northeast Oregon is renowned for its watermelon production, even hosting an annual Melon Fest each August.

You’ll also find another one of our wonderful local AmeriTitle branches here. This experienced group prides itself on attracting repeat customers and being a great title and escrow partner. “We have a lot of people who ask specifically to close with AmeriTitle,” said Branch Manager Chris Gibbs. “The customers like to come into our office and recognize our employees who have helped them in the past.”

Umatilla County is experiencing a period of growth, and our team in Hermiston is ready to support builders, developers and others. (This area is also proving to be a popular destination for data centers and related development.) While some of those newcomers may have chosen this branch because of AmeriTitle’s regional reputation, the goal is to convert them into loyal customers by delivering exceptional service, Gibbs says.

The Hermiston branch is deeply rooted in the community. The team contributes to multiple scholarship funds for area schools, supports the medical community and donates to local food banks.

Of course, it’s not all work and no play for this team. Personal hobbies include gardening and hiking for Gibbs and camping for Escrow Officer Cirenia Gutierrez-Hernandez, while Escrow Assistants Callista Estefanos, Kayla Kremer and Mike Nunez say they enjoy baking, hiking and bowling, respectively.

Why do all these employees love their jobs so much? Because they get to be part of so many exciting new chapters for their customers and partners. “To feel their excitement when they walk through the doors for their first time purchasing, selling or starting a new adventure,” said Gibbs. “We love being able to help them fulfill their dream, no matter how big that dream is.”
