AmeriTitle Branch Spotlight – Columbia River Gorge – Hood River, The Dalles and White Salmon

It’s time to return the AmeriTitle branch spotlight to a trio of offices that collectively serve the Columbia River Gorge area. This region includes parts of both Oregon and Washington state. Our three branches here are located in Hood River, OR, The Dalles, OR and White Salmon, WA.
The title professionals here work both independently and together when it comes to getting things done for their customers and partners. “The Gorge teams support one another, and this allows our customers flexibility in picking an office close to them for signing, depositing funds or filling out paperwork. Having three offices in the Gorge really helps us stand out (especially for) orders in multiple counties,” said Beverly Nanez, who serves as the Branch Manager of both Oregon branches in The Gorge.
The Hood River branch, specifically, also has some exciting news to share. It recently moved into a new space at 3239 Cascade Ave., and we would love to show it off. As rewarding as a real estate journey can be for most, our local teams here understand that some stories are bittersweet. That’s why, as much as we love to celebrate milestones – especially first-time home purchases – we realize some situations require empathy and care.
“Our team enjoys working with a wide variety of customers. We congratulate the buyers, take pictures of them with our fun signs and help them understand the loan process,” Nanez said. “But with our years of experience, we also know how to assist sellers who are advanced in years and transitioning out of their home – a process that can involve strong emotions. Our staff approaches these transactions with compassion and empathy.”
For this group’s Washington customers, the White Salmon branch also prides itself on providing personal customer service and consistent communication to get things done for their transactions, according to Branch Manager Shenna Hankin, and that effort often pays off in tangible tokens of appreciation. “We often receive compliments and written commendation from our customers,”
All our Gorge-area professionals are dedicated to providing a level of care beyond the office. Representatives from all three branches took part in the recent Polar Plunge fundraiser in the Columbia River for Special Olympics, and another worthy cause is the Distinguished Young Women of Wasco County Program. This initiative combines scholarship opportunities with professional development and life skills training. “Our staff helps with mock interviews for the girls, providing feedback and tips on interviewing.”
The branches make sure to support other worthy causes, including our company-wide Closing the Hunger Gap food drive and a variety of local charity fun runs and other events. Here’s a fun fact about our AmeriTitle branch in The Dalles. It’s known for going all out for Halloween, and the staff makes sure to dress up in themed costumes for the community’s annual trick-or-treat event.
Speaking of fun, common hobbies of our AmeriTitle team members in this area include many outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, camping and fire dancing.
Nanez also reminds her partners and customers that the teams in all three branches can handle commercial title needs around The Gorge, too. “Each CRE file presents a unique opportunity, and our clients are often excited to begin a new chapter. With many parties involved, clear communication and organization are essential, and that’s where our team shines,” she said.
