This AmeriTitle spotlight focuses on the quartet of Oregon professionals who make up the Linn and Benton Counties Escrow Team: Caryn Davenport, Vanessa Garcia, Patty Sanchez and Kristi Stutzman.

Davenport, Garcia and Sanchez work out of AmeriTitle’s Corvallis branch, while Stutzman is based in Albany, OR. Davenport is used to working with customers and partners from the entire region, serving as Branch Manager for the Albany, Corvallis and Lebanon offices. This seasoned group is the perfect choice to take care of your escrow needs in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Davenport, Garcia and Stutzman have all been part of the AmeriTitle family for more than a decade.

“I love the team aspect of working in escrow,” Garcia says. “I also love being an important part of such a HUGE life moment for buyers and sellers. There’s no better feeling!”

Davenport, who has worked in the industry for 18 years, echoes that sentiment from her longtime colleague. “No transaction is the same, so I’m always getting to learn something new,” she says. “My favorite moments are signing with first-time homebuyers and seeing how excited and proud they are of this moment.”

Although she’s the least tenured member of the team, Sanchez plays a vital role for all her customers. As one of our bilingual professionals, she is especially helpful to clients who may be more comfortable speaking Spanish at the closing table. Sanchez says, “Being bilingual allows me to build trust, improve communication and make the experience smoother and less stressful for clients who may feel overwhelmed by the paperwork and terminology.”

Some fun facts about the group: Stutzman has a dog named Pretzel, Garcia says she can tell when her teenage daughter is lying to her, Davenport played college softball and Sanchez loves making beautiful charcuterie boards, designing centerpieces and arranging bouquets.

All four women also point to family as an important part of their lives. Davenport picked her parents, while Stutzman highlighted her daughter as the person she admires most. “She is a go-getter,” Stutzman said. “She’s a college graduate with a degree that allowed her to follow her dream. She owns her own business, has a small hobby farm and raises three daughters under 12.”

Both Garcia and Sanchez bestow their highest admiration for a sister. “My sister, Cassie, is only 11 months younger than me, so we’re basically twins,” Garcia says. “We’ve been attached at the hip our whole lives, and when we’re not together, you can bet we’re on the phone! She’s the kind of person who’s gone through hard things but still stays soft, kind, hopeful and unapologetically herself. She’s also a TOTAL boss professionally and way funnier and friendlier than I am. Honestly, if we weren’t sisters, she would still be my best friend.”
