Canva is still the easy tool you need to stand out from the crowd

As much as we talk about fall and winter having the same potential as spring and summer, the last third of the year serves as the perfect time to tackle some of those marketing and operational goals you’ve been putting off in 2026. That’s why this AmeriTitle blog focuses on the importance of having a unique brand and getting on-target messaging to the right audiences.

Back in 2023, we talked about Canva as a DIY design solution everyone in real estate should at least know about when it comes to design and marketing. Now, in the age of cookie-cutter, AI-generated graphics, you should look at Canva differently. It can help you differentiate yourself from the ChatGPT “slop” that is quickly losing favor among social media users across our communities.

So, what should real estate professionals know about Canva now? We’re glad you asked!

Invest in Canva Pro. Last time, we encouraged you to check out the platform for free to see if it was useful. Now, we’ll say it from the jump: If you’re ready to upgrade your design game, $15 per month is a small price to pay. You’ll get more templates, images, AI resouces and other tools and maybe most importantly, the ability to build a brand kit. This toolbox lets you save logos, headshots, brand colors, fonts and more, so every flyer, listing graphic, market update, Instagram story and recruiting piece starts from the same visual foundation.

Use Canva’s smart tools without losing your local voice. One of Canva’s most useful upgrades for busy real estate pros is the ability to take one design and resize it for multiple channels. A square Instagram post can become a story, flyer, email graphic, digital ad or presentation slide without starting over every time.

Its AI tools can also help with layouts, captions, listing copy, image touch-ups, image background removal and quick design ideas. Even the best designers on the platform use it to make sure elements line up, information is correct and everything looks right. Just use AI as a tool—not the main means of production.

Make sure to explore everything it can do. This is the catch-all tip, but it’s full of key messages. If you start using Canva for just social media or another single purpose, great. However, as you get more comfortable, explore how it can help whenever you need a chart, flyer, presentation, video or even website design.

Also, don’t use the first template you see in a search. Chances are, a competitor or two is doing exactly that, and this blog is meant to make sure your designs feel customized and unique to you. Finally, check out the other features included. We’re talking about QR code generators, a music library for background video beats and integrations with some of your favorite services, including this one.

While the AmeriTitle title and settlement experts in all our branches know we work with some of the best real estate professionals across our markets, and we want everyone else to know it, too. Use Canva and other tools to make sure you — and your brand marketing — truly shine! We’d love to see what you’ve created next time you’re around one of our closing tables!
